It shows you any change before making it. Questions about refunds or charges go to a person, and the cancel and billing pages open right in the chat. Your Facebook credentials are stored locally on your computer only, in encrypted form. They are never transmitted to CarSnipe's servers. The extension works inside your own browser, the way you would if you opened Facebook yourself.

CarSnipe monitors all vehicle types available on Facebook Marketplace: cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, and more. You can run separate search profiles for different vehicle types at the same time.

CarSnipe works anywhere Facebook Marketplace has a vehicles category, and alerts support local currency (USD, CAD, EUR, CHF, GBP, AUD, etc.) and metric distances where applicable. However, Facebook itself serves fresher listings in larger markets (US, Canada, UK, Australia). In smaller markets like Switzerland, Austria, or parts of Europe, Facebook's own "newest first" sort often returns listings that are several days old. This is a limitation on Facebook's side that no third-party tool can bypass, since we use the same API Facebook's own website uses. If you're in a smaller market, we recommend starting the free trial first to see how fresh the listings are for your specific region before subscribing.
